That kid was some local... he got a running start on me but in the end I was gaining on him FAST. The only problem was we ran out of road where it chokes down to one lane at the stoplight and I decided it wasn't worth trying to merge at a light doing 90+ mph.



So I slammed on the brakes and so did he.



His truck had some power, maybe in the 400hp range. I did have a clear advantage. Now we just wait for round two, with a FAIR start. :-laf

Ron called me afterwards, and told me about the race and smoke show. Sorry I missed that and the meet. I would've added plenty of more smoke to the mix. :-laf

I just joined this week, and i live incentral illinois, between champaign and bloomington. I would like to coe to a get togethor, but how about movin it around the state, so more people could come? just an idea, and please let me know when the next one is

Most of us that get together, live up in that area. I don't, but I still come. You would only have to drive about another 10 miles more than me, if that.



There lots of guys that meet up the around St. Louis also. Dyno days and such. We are planning to have a dyno day out in the Joliet area in June.
