OK, I've talked about this for a long time, but now it's time to really do something. We need to pick a time and place to get together in the next month or 2. I know there are some members up here and a few that come up here a lot. With a little planning, maybe this can work

I see faces and trucks and forget who's who. Having them all in one place will either straighten it out or really confuse me.

Check you calendars and schedules. Is a Friday or Saturday better? Or some other day?

well as pete knows im up there just about every weekend so friday nights or saturdays all day or even sundays work the only weekend i have booked so far is the 22 23 of september thats my birthday weekend friday b- day saturday alan jackson concert other than that count me in ... . im sure Elake is interested he lives on the corner of 72 and williamsburg rd

I'm up there quite often these days riding my dirt bike. Things are pretty crazy schedule wise for the next couple months so just set a date and I'll be there if I can. I know the weekends of the 6th and 13th of october are out for me because Wendy and I will be on a cruise for our 10th anniversary. Have a bunch of other stuff on other weekends too but will be there if I can. If it's towards the late afternoon/evening that'd be awesome because then I could ride in the morning and then meet up with you guys afterwards.

Id travel for this one. Ive got family in Travers and know the area alright. I might take the bikes along and head up to Black Lake



Saturdays are better for me (working 2nds kinda bashes fridays)

OK, the truck show in St. Ignace sounds like fun, but I have David because SWMBO will be gone till Sat night. My parents are stopping here on their way home from a long road trip probably that weekend as well.

Maybe I tell my parents to come Sunday and get a sitter for Sat. afternoon until wife gets home and we do this Sat night in Mackinaw/ St. Ignace area.

Other weekends could work, but I just came up with this as I was typing a long excuse why it wouldn't THAT weekend.

This sounds like a good idea. I have been meaning to get up your way bighammer, this would certainly be a good excuse



I would stay away from October 7th since that is TST's dyno day and some guys downstate may be heading south instead of north.

Anybody have more info about the truck show? Parade is Fri or Sat nite? Now I'm thinking about heading up Fri after school and staying overnight (somewhere with a pool for my 8 year old ) then head home Sat afternoon.

I have sent BIGHAMMER a PM because I live in the same area as Pete. I am heading to Mac City fri and sat for the truck show. The parade of lights across the bridge is after dark on sat. If anybody feels like getting together, just let me know.

This weekend is still up in the air for me. I'm not sure I can get a sitter or find something there to occupy my 8 year old enough to justify the trip. My parents may be coming here Fri or Sat (or Sun) so until I know their plans, I can't really commit...

Might have to wait until later in Oct or Nov before I have any weekends open.

DWestfall just called me and said he's not going to make it this weekend, but he has a shop where we could get together.
