I have been running Norton’s AntiVirus program for well over a year now and get the updates regularly. It’s a great program and you have to love the free updates.

However, the “Norton AntiVirus, AntiVirus 2000, is Protecting You” pop up window is driving me crazy:{

Is there a way to disable this pop up window feature and still keep the Auto-Protection enabled :confused:

Ok, open the program window for norton. look around for a options window. then look for a setting that says something about the splash screen, and turn it off. i would have better directions, but i am running a newer version.

Go to options, other, general and remove the check from "Display the logo screen when starting Norton Antivirus. " That did it for mine.

Jff24Gordn,

Thanks but, nothing for “splash screen” under options:(

What if I were to disabling one (or both) of the following;

Options > Auto-Protect > Other Options: Show the Auto-Protect icon in tray.

Email Protection > Advanced > Email Scanner Control: Display the logo screen when scanning email.

:confused:

Steve M,

Tried it. I still get the pop up window. That function seems to be the logo window when starting the Norton program.

Thanks.
