I have been reading about some performance mods and Want to know if anyone is running a nos system, and their experiences with it, (ie. . fuel mileage, EGT's, anything breaking?)

The guy at my local Diesel Dynamics says they build a custom NOS setup for the cummins. Anyone had this installed??

Thanks in advance.

I thought of propane, but I have been told that nos is better and runs cooler. I have no extensive experience with either in a diesel application, so I largerly go off what everyone else has to say about it. My local DD guy told me that Propane tends to ignite while the pistons are still on the compresseion stroke, which sounded like I would be doing a rebuild soon.

i'd say you are better off going with propane.....

Yeah if you want to replace head gaskets. I have the Nitrous Express system from Diesel Dynamics & it works great. No detonation like the propane & egt's are lower. Its up to you but i would run the NOS before propane.
