Come the millennium, month 12,
In the home of greatest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader.

I guess this could have applied either way!

Note that Nostradamus said the "villate idiot would come forth to be acclaimed the leader" NOT who the leader would actually be. Seems to indicate who would win the 'popular' vote (the villate idiot) -- not who actually won the election!
