Yesterday after work it started but it sputered for a moment before started , so quick that I didn't think about it , next morroring it sputered a lot and did'nt start , so I replaced the fuel filter , pressed the prime pump a while and it started and off to work I went .
After work it sputered but with a little playing with the throdle , it started and went home .
Now I'm thinking that I've got a new problum that has not fully developt ,
Any ideas ?

If it starts ok with a little pedal then your idle is too low.

If it's not that then if the fuel hoses may be leaking air. The hoses can look fine (you can't seen an air leak) and still be the problem.

The next most likely problem is an air leak in the fuel heater.

I agree with Joe, those are 2 known problems that are fairly easy to fix. If you haven't replaced your fuel lines yet, I'd do that first. If that doesn't solve your problem, removing the fuel heater to see if that cures it, it's real simple. You can test the heater with air and put it back in if it's not a problem or throw it out as most people on here advise. I just took mine out as the electrical contacts melted and was letting air into the fuel making it very hard to start. Starts good now. Here is a link on that topic. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158528

Good luck, let us know what you found.

A little update , have not had a chance to look into the hard start yet [ becouse it will start with playing with the throdle ] but it seems that it only happens after sitting for over night or after work , 6-8 hrs. runs fine after about 15-30 sec. , the millage may be down by 1 1/2 to 2 miles per.

When the hard start started the other day the fuel tank was low , the new thing is that I usally run the tank down to near empty to a 1/4 before fill up , and this is the 1st time that I had to work the throdle to get it to start with low fuel , and the millage is down about 1 - 1 1/2 mpgs.

Temporary sorta fix. Park the truck with the nose pointed down hill. This helped my 96' until I replaced the fuel lines. My main problem was the soft line from fuel preheater to liftpump.
