Hey everyone,

Been lurking for about a month, had to wait until I had Christmas paid for before I could spend any more money! Now I am an official member! See my sig for my truck info. I bought it right after Thanksgiving so it is still pretty new to me. It's pretty much stock and pretty much gonna stay that way. I'm gonna get a few gauges and maybe something with the exhaust and that should be about it. I've had my share of dumping too much money into vehicles ('81 Chevy 1/2 ton-$10k in engines and transmissions and the thing was primered and ugly as sin!).

Just wanted to post and say what a great resource I have found this as a non-member, I'm sure it will be more so as one.

Welcome to tdr, i'm organically from Tulsa, yep this is the place weather you're bombing or just trying to get 1,000,000 miles out of your grinder. I haven't had a question go unanswered yet. Make sure you post pics so we can pick apart your vehicle. ;)

Any bets on how long it will take before the bombing bug bites him?? Welcome and enjoy there is alot of info here and some great folks with alot of knowledge that can help with whatever you need as well as some vendors that will be more than happy to help you to the darkside, lol.

Hahaha! I have to say my mind wanders to the dark side every once in a while.

I have noticed one thing that I really enjoy and that the membership should be proud of, very little flaming/negative comments. I'm sure it happens but not like some boards out there.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot about this thing. Hope to keep the truck going for a loooooong time.

Jeff
