Hey Fellas,



I have been real happy with the guards I got from Eric. If you have any questions about their "performance", I will be happy to answer them as I had the first set made (my truck was the template) by Eric. As a note, I don't work for Eric or anything like that, I am just happy with his product for the 1st generation trucks and am trying to help other 1st gen owners out.

One of my 1st gen customers said the holes for the bolt lined up with the center bar meaning that if they used it, the bolt was on a steep angle. does it go on the center bar or not? I thought it was that way. .

Anyway, he said he hogged the hole to make more room. was he sposed to hook it on a lower bar? scratching head here...

I used the J-bolts to hook to the inside, middle of each verticle bar. The bolts on my truck are at a slight angle, but everything lines up okay. The covers can be a pain to line up the first time you put them on. Another option is to slot the hole a bit with a file. Sorry about the confusion. I hope this help.
