2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Now, more brakes (ABS light)

Ok, now my turn for the brake gremlins - my dash brake lights come up occasionally when I corner the truck (at speed; in an intersection) left or right, braking or NOT. Its a soft code that clears on restart. All brake lines intact, master level normal, no recent work on system, no electrical lines (ABS ground) disturbed. Brake action normal, no loose wheels!! I'm thinking something went south in the ABS sensor unit OR the metering valve that centrifugal forces are generating the fault - that sound absurd or has anyone run into this?? thanx in advance.

I would suspect one of the front wheel sensors, could be a wheel bearing loose too. I don't think the 98 had four wheel ABS unless maybe it was an option. bg

All wheel abs has been available on all years of the 2nd gen... . Ck for codes,then go from there.

Actually the truck is RWAL only so the only sensor would be rear diff. I had though of a sensor error but would that mean the 'tone gear' is chewed or loose??

If it is only RWAL I don't understand why it would act up in turning corners?? My 99 had a carrier bearing in the differential where the shim came out and chewed up some metal and the particles got on the ABS sensor and caused the light to come on, the speedometer would jump around some too. I would pull the sensor and see if it is damaged? bg
