My rail pressure guage sucks down to 12K-13K with the TST box at level 4/4. I am thinking that i am losing possible hp from that.

at lower settings, like 1/1 or 2/2 the guage stays in the low 20K range.

So is a Fass or something similar going to help?

Whats everyones experience with the rail pressure guage?

you need more pressure, turn your ez on and let er rip, a fass would help as well, you are draining the rail ---yes that means you are losing alot of power. turn your tq down and see if that helps.

the EZ is on and set atlevel 3 all the time... I was disappointed with my track times about a month ago, it felt like it was falling flat at 1/2 track. The more I turned up the box (TST), the slower it got.

Tell me about the fass, good AND bad.

well you are definatly draining your rail, the fass will help this a good bit, but the best way to eliminate the possibility of your draining the rail is to get a modded cp3 or turn your boxes down, the fass offers many benifits, easy to change filters, much better filtration, constant fuel volume, and good reliability. and a four 4 unlimited milage warranty. the only bad thing i see is price is more than others, and it takes about 4 hours to install one. i currently use the fass and im happy with it Oo.

I agree more fuel pressure via the FASS or other PSI producing pump will help, But ultimately you will a modded CP3 as wade said above.

Helped my truck a good amount...

Well I know I want a modded cp3, but cant afford it right now. But that doesn't mean you can't find an optimum stack setting combo with what you have. I have a FASS, and a stock cp3. I can run TST 5/2 and EZ 2 without draining the rail. My RP will stay in the 22k or higher plus range for the 1/4. I don't think I drained the rail on my best time ever, that was TST w/05twin on 2/0, EZ 3, Smarty 8. I was holding on and did not really monitor the RP gauge the whole time. Start on the TST with 4/1, EZ 2 and do not raise the TST torque level. If the RP drops below 18k, probably not enough LP pressure or Rail pressure.

I put my rail pressure gauge on last night and with tst0/0, power pup on performance, and ez on 3 pressure will go down to 13k. I didnt have time to change settings. Any suggestions?

somthing is not right if your pullin it down to 13k, it needs some tuning at a min

A lot later? I thought it broguht it on faster but stayed within the 23K range? I haven't been able to verify it cause at this time I have my box off that reads the rail pressure

sorry fellas, thats what I was trying to say :D

I am curious if Smarty alone does a better job of keeping pressures up on a moded truck and also how high it will get on a non moded truck.
