Ok I live in Calif, so last year I bought a 2003 Standard Output (CA Edition) Cummins. Now they have the smog legal 600! What can I do to mine to boost it up without losing my warranty? I would love a new Dodge, but that's out of the question. My friend has a first generation dodge. He spent about $500. 00 on his motor & it will blow mine away!

If you want to get technical. Anything you do to increase the power can void your warranty. D/C is very strick and hard to deal with on this. You might get lucky like some of us have and find an easy to get along with dealer that will overlook small power adders like pressure/timing boxes.

edge EZ is a nice jump in power, and is proven reliable but if you tow big loads gauges are good insurance. There are some way bigger power gains to be had, but you will have to dip a little deeper in your wallet for that.

I drove a 600 six speed the other day and my truck with an EZ has more power. It is very controlable with EGT's and is removed in two minutes for dealer calls.

Call Gale Banks they claim that their products will not void the warranty. From what I have read on other posts Banks has actually gone to bat for buyers who were using their products where D. C. had refused to honor the warranty. In other words Banks had dealt with D. C. and the repairs were made under warranty. Just my two cents.

2003 SLT 3500 4X4 305/555 48RE :D

I have had Banks go to bat. Such as on a 2001 with a dead injection pump. But that pump is a known problem. I sure would'nt take one in for warranty repairs on a crashed turbo or rod hanging out of it with a fueling box on it. Just asking for trouble. But on items a box has NOTHING to do with thats a different story.

thanks for replys. i would like alot more low end power. also what cost would be. One other thing i tow abot 35% of the time loads over 12,000lbs. thanks again!

An ez will wake it up quite a bit. Gauges are a must when towing the amount you stated above, some people even feel this way on a stock truck.
