NP273d Transfer case question

I have a question I can't seem to get a good answer I purchased a broken np273d transfer case the case was broken . Then I bought a complete np273 f transfer case. My question is can I take the guts out of the 273d and install them in the 273 F case the question boils down to is the case the same.

I don't know but you could check the individual part numbers.

The rebuild kit for the 273d and the 273 f are the same kit. I'm pretty sure the shafts are different the splines but I think the cases are the same I just thought maybe somebody on here would know for sure
