Hello,

Friend of mine purchased 2000 CTD 2 days ago, and upon changing the oil yesterday noticed that the Bolt that sits in the middle of the rubber frame mount connected to the engine on the drivers side is missing its nut.

When he lets the clutch out, the engine moves up about . 25-. 5" out of the saddle.

It is going to the dealer on tuesday.

But we would like to know what the Torque spec is on this Nut (we have a substitute nut in place).

Responses appreciated!!

Thanks!

Torque this

If it is the bolt that goes through the rubber mount with a nut on either end, the torque is 65 ft. pounds. The four bolts that go into the block show 110 ft. pounds. This is from a 99 manual. bg
