Thought I would share another wheel find that is not posted on the manufactures web site:

Its called "Fuel" is 17x8. 5 it has a 5 3/8" back spacing and a +15mm offset

8 on 6. 5 lug pattern, rated to 3100 lbs. Has a 5. 15 center bore and you could use a hub centric ring but the manufacture says the wheel is lug centric and would center up that way. Using a hub centric ring will not increase the load rating or center the wheel any different according to them.

3 colors are available and look like these but in an 8 lug.

Too bad they're ugly as hell. YUCK!! Looks like some crap out of a rap vidoe. You're going to take the stock alloys off to put that garbage on?

The +15mm offset is going to move the rim out about an inch and a half plus the extra width of the rim. My guess is that would end up being almost 2" further out than stock. If that look is OK with you then there are several rim choices around. The trick is finding one close to the factory +40mm offset. I priced out a set of 20" rims and tires at Belle Tire at around $2400. The were Forte Big Manny 20x9 with +15mm offset and I think it was the 285/70/20 Toyo tire. I don't like the wheel that far outside the wheel well so I turned it down. Weld has some +40mm offset 18" but they are in the $700 range. You would be better off going with the Welds that KORE sells atr that price.

Lighten up dude! They're really kind of moderate in today's world. Ever hear the expression "to each their own"? Some like the look of a sport- Monochromatic- others like to stick on every piece of chrome doo-dad that'll fit, as long as it trips your trigger, who cares?

Oh yea- Kudo's to American racing for using teflon on their wheels for protection and easier maintenance.

Matt and Nick,

I'm with you. The Teflon coating is awesome, The black look is hot, especially on a monochromatic truck. If you don't mind running fender flares, they are fine. I put some polished wheels on my truck, and I am now thinking of getting a set of Mojave's, but I like the look and added protection of the flares.

Matt - keep in mind that if you go with those wheels, 35's will rub unless you do 4+ inches of lift. I have a 2" leveling kit, and 35's rubbed with my wheels (17x9, 4. 625" backspacing). I ended up with 33's. Just an FYI if you ever plan on bigger tires.

No Tim, I'm not buying those so you can breath easy. The back space in not deep enough for my taste. I just posted for others that use flares and are looking because that 8 lug wheel is not listed but available.

I will be using a 33" tire and so far its either the KORE wheel or a 20x8. 5 with 20mm offset at 5. 5" back space. . but still looking.

Just something to keep in mind, for every 1" wider than the factory 8" rim you need to add 1/2" to the stock 6" backspace to stay neutral with factory. So you'll need 6. 5" Backspace on 9" rim, 7" BS on a 10" rim. If you keep neutral on a 10" rim for example, your tire will protrude 1" more on the outside and inside of the vehicle compared to a stock tire.

Soon as went to a rim with a little offset on my 03 it would it would occasionally go into the Death Wobble. Kal Tire took them back and no more problems.
