NV 4500 Reverse switch

Looking for info on easiest way to replace reverse light switch on my 97 3500 with the NV 4500?

I believe its located on the top of the transmission and requires a deep socket. Like a 19mm or 22mm. I have to change mine too because the reverse lights have a mind of their own.
