nv 4500 swap in 92

I am getting ready to do the nv 5600 swap into my 98 ram. This means I will have the nv 4500 out of it laying around. Its in decent shape. My 92 model d3500 has a VERY tierd auto in it. Can the 5 spd from the 4x4 98 be put in the 92 model 2wd that currentely has the auto? what kind of problem will the rearend gearing of the 92 play. I guess it will be more trouble that its worth but I sure do wish it will work.

Get ahold of Quad 4x4, they are the experts on this kinda deal. It will take some work, and yeah, it will be more trouble than it's worth... but if you're looking for a project, it will be a good one.
