Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV 5600 Info Please.......

OK ..... Its my first 5600 and I am wondering where the "full" level plug is and the "fill" plug. Also what in the capacity of fluid?

I bought a service manual at the parts store that goes up to '01 but it doesnt even list the NV 5600.

I apolgize that no one helped you out already. TDR is getting less helpful



Anyway, the 17MM Allen plug on the driver's side is BOTH the fill location and the level indicator (like in a differential).



It should be about 1/2" below the bottom of the fill hole, +/- 1/4" or so.

Capacity is 9-1/2 pints, and you need to jack up the rear end to get it all in there.
