Denman tires

In Jan my wife & I are planing on leaving Gardnerville, Nv & going to Tampa, FL. I would like to take I-40 out of Kingman,AZ to Amarillo,TX Dallis, TX , Shreveport,LA & Mobile, AL then I-10 to I-75 down to Tampa or would I be better off just going to I-10 & taking it across. We will be pulling our travel trailer. Any help would be gratefull as I know this is the middle of winter. Thanks

Jack

I-40 is the route I prefer when pulling my RV east. There are a couple of places where you need to watch the weather in the winter, particularly at higher elevations but generally, it's not a problem. I-10 just lacks scenery, unless you enjoy miles of featureless view. I usually travel about 400 miles a day and it takes 3 days across Texas on I-10, with virtually nothing to see except dead deer on the roadside.
