Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) nv241dhd transfer case

I have a 2002 Ram 2500 diesel 4x4 with 250,000 miles, with nv241dhd transfer case. Had problems with transfer case, it self destructed, I rebuilt it with all new parts including the pads on the fork(s). While there, I replaced the input shaft on NV5600 transmission, new clutch and pilot bearing, all new fluids, etc. Now it keeps popping out of gear into neutral, just the transfer case, not the transmission #@$%!. Don't know what is going on, any suggestions??? I have looked at other threads on TDR that suggested replacing pads on the fork which I have done. Am at a loss! HELP!!
