Just drained the fluid from my NV4500 and noticed the fill plug requires a hexagon wrench.

I'll need to run and pick up an attachment for the rachet. What size is it?

I'm assuming it's metric. I'd like to know the exact size, I'll be taking the wife's car and can't check it while at the store. One trip vs. 2-3 would be nice. :(

3/8" allen will take it out. I usually take mine apart in the cab and dump the oil in from the top. The fill plug is a PITA to get to if you don't have a pump.

I found a cheap fluid pump at local parts store and put it on a gallon jug. Works fine, if a bit awkward under the truck. The hose has a kind of plastic barb thing on the end that holds the hose in the fill hole. (Just don't shove it in all the way). Finding about a half gallon jug that's not too tall helps make it easier. JG
