Since I can’t reply to my own thread I did a Little more research and decided to go with the oil quad 4x4 sells he knows his stuff and I trust what he says and the products he sells . I dumped the royal purple in the front diff and went with the 75 85 gl4 synthetic oil it specifically covers the dodge part number and gm part number and lists both right on the bottle I guess I can’t do pictures anymore either

Redline 75W80 is what I put in the wife's truck equipped with the NV5600. It really improved the shift qualities. It is very likely what I will use in mine the next time I change the transmission oil. Right now I am using a 50/50 mix of SAE 50 synthetic and Amsoil MTF. It works well with the exception of on initial start up in cold weather which makes it stiff shifting until the oil is warmed up. Once the oil is warm, it works great. It does work great in hot weather though.

If you have questions about what works best in your particular application, give Cody @ Super Stick Transmissions a call.

Chief, do you have the NV5600? The NV4500 takes a different fluid.
I have the NV5600 and I understand that the NV4500 calls for 75W-90 GL-4. Redline 70W80 works and is a great match for the NV5600. Here is a good chart on viscosity.
