Archived NV5600 hard shift updates?

I have the NV5600 out of my truck for rebuild, (broken countershaft gear) and thought there were some updates to take care of the shifting problem from 2nd to 3rd, but have been searching and can't find anything, i am tearing the main and countershaft apart today and would like to take care of it all at once

Shifting ease

While you have the transmission apart change out the synchros. When you put it all back together and refill it with lube, I have a mixture that works very well. I have done this with several 6- speed trannys. Buy the factory oil and add the Lubegard additive. The bottle is yellow and you can find it at Napa. Follow the directions on the bottle and it will tell you how to add. If you fill your transmission thru the gear shift opening add 1 extra quart of lube. Any questions let me know, Sam.
