NV5600 Oil change?

I just drained and refilled my NV5600 transmission. Everything I have read says the transmission holds 4. 75 quarts (9. 5 pints). I barely got over 4 quarts in before it was pouring out the fill hole. Am I doing something wrong or will it not really take 4 3/4 quarts on a refill?

I drain the oil out the transmission on level ground then when it look like it was done, I jacked the back of the truck up a foot or so and another quart came out. Plus I removed the PTO cover. On the fill up it took about 4. 5 quarts.

Mine took all of 5 quarts.
