Governed speed for 4BT?

I'm working on installing an NV5600 in my '93 W250. I have had the transmission for several months. It's a 1999 with the 1. 25" 10-spline input shaft.

Here's what I've learned so far:

1. You must change the transmission adapter to pn 4874537.

2. You must change the starter to pn 4741012. I bought a remanufactured unit.

3. If you are using the old flywheel, you do not need the starter spacer pn 5018522AA.

I am going to try to stay with the '93 clutch and pressure plate. I do plan to install a new disk and have the old flywheel resurfaced. I don't know if this will work because I haven't married up the transmission with the clutch components installed yet. If I still have an interferrence problem, then I will have to consider replacing the flywheel, clutch, PP & TO. I will install the old clutch components tomorrow and do a trial fit.

All in all, it looks like I'm going to pull this off for considerably less money than most others have spent. I'll keep the board informed.

Thanks for all your advice and encouragement.
