Oregon Rammers Get together

Info on Scheid Diesel Rally

On Saturday, Sept 23rd, at approx 9am, we will be having a NW BOMB party at my house to install a set of Roadmasters on my Ram. Any and all are welcome to attend.

Anyone have a set of very strong jack stands I can borrow for the day? A big floor jack would be handy, also.

We may be installing a set of injectors for Tlippy, too. I have not gotten a response back from him yet!

If you need directions or have questions, email me or post here!

Hey Bob, how could you have possibly known it was me???? Well, I guess the Air Bulldog hood gave me away. Up until the middle of August I was the only one in Washington with one. Now there is one in Marysville and one in North Bend. Your Ram is the same color as MikeR's... thought it might be him until I saw the new towing mirrors. Do you live anywhere near to where we passed? Rob and I both live around five miles North of there on opposite sides of Hwy. 169. #ad

All right Bob, you got me that time! #ad
I knew Heaterexpert was Bob something although, I'm sorry to say I couldn't, for the life of me remember your last name. Sorry! #ad
As Maxwell Smart would have said, the old switcheroo in the middle of the game trick (Heaterexpert changed to Bob Wagner). Even your Ram didn't ring a bell with me... I thought the lower break portion of your Ram was Light Driftwood? I could have sworn the Ram I saw yesterday was ALL Dark Garnet? #ad

Do-dododo-do-dododo(theme from the Twilight Zone). Now this is real funny...
Hey John, when you caught up with me at the Powershop, remember when you said you thought you just saw me in Enumclaw, then realized it wasn't my Ram? I then said I saw a Dark Garnet/Driftwood Ram on my way in in the distance, but I couldn't see who was driving it. Funny we're all in the same place at the same time!

Rob,September 23rd is great! My project will be the e-brake install on my truck(finally!),just need to order one last piece.

Dang, does this mean I have to wash my truck again? I've been a little slow reading the TDR, but I've got a couple of jackstands and a floorjack in the garage I suppose I can throw in the back too. I have a super duper steering stabilizer I'd like to put on while we are working on trucks too. Does anybody feel like putting a muffler back on? Just kiddin Mike.

I received my G-Tech pocket dyno the other day... its a hoot to play with! If anyone wants to try it out, you need the specific weight of your vehicle, and a long stretch of level pavement. It will be available at this event for "testing" purposes!

Rob, just wondering, is it necessary to jack up the rig? I don't know how you install the unit but you don't need a jack if you are removing the U-bolts. Don't need jackstands or nothing, just block the front wheels good. But if you have to remove the shackles though that's a different story, need a jack for that.

Wish I could come and join you but can't get away that weekend. Have to save fuel $$ for trip to BD. #ad

Vaughn

Vaughn, the jackstands are needed to support the frame. The rear axle must be allowed to droop so that Roadmaster coil springs can be set to their proper pre-load.
Andy

Okay, so who all's coming to Rob's this Saturday? I'm going to L. A. for a week, and since I'll already be over an hour south from where I live, I'm just going to hit the road from Rob's.
Andy

Andy... so far, all I know for sure is you, me, James, Evan, and John is a maybe. Bob from Auburn will be late due to other commitments. I'm sure more will show.
