That was me Jeff. I'm hoping to wrap up my conversion very soon on the Suburban. Then I am going to start another. I have been considering an old GMC with a Cummins. It will probably be 2wd and it will be built to race and drive. I read about the Cummins Diesel Power Mag is building in the last issue and am drawing some inspiration. The custom head and nitrous ports looked sweet. On the Suburban I have been fighting T-case problem for a month. First it was sitting right in the middle of my torsion bar support. It took two tries to finally get it to fit. Then I bought a Dodge T-case so I could make a hybrid out of it and my GMC case. Well it turns out the Dodge case is a heavy duty with the PTO. The forks wont fit. I need the back half of the GM case for the speed sensor. A buddy found another one for me yesterday but it was locked up and rusty. I thought I could take the front and get a case out of the three. A friend said he could do it. He beat on the locked up case all night and could never get it apart. I have decided I am wasting time and money and am looking for a case. After that I lack drive lines and wires. It has come together very nicely.
