Has anyone tried Nyalic on their Ram or anything? I am thinking about trying this stuff on my plastic trim to make it look better but it may also work well for rock chip protection on the front of my truck. I don't know how well it will look though and what happens over a few years should it start to deteriorate. They claim it eliminates waxing but I am wondering how it will hold up to repeated washings with road grime and how resistant it is to swirl marks on a dark vehicle.

If anyone has used it I'd appreciate some feedback :)

Nyalic

Check with Barry, moderator in Towing, Hauling, & RV.

In response to my question in that forum quite a while ago, about alternatives to acid washing an aluminum horse trailer, he put us on to Nyalic and the good luck he had on RV's through his dealership. Believe he was selling it to some TDR people then, as it only came in 5 gallon quanitity at that time, don't know about now???

He was the man for questions about Nyalic. :)

Vaughn,

Where are you going to buy this stuff from? It sounds really good, and I might give it a try if it means I don't have to wax anymore.

I wish I could give a report on how it works, but I haven't applied any yet.

I bought a kit from:

HBI, Inc.

(Skip Hawkins)

Doraville, GA

770-368-2323

He was very helpful regarding instructions etc. , and included detailed, printed instructions with my order.

I spent some big bucks on this kit. I ought to get off my rear and try it, but now I'll have to wait until warmer temperatures. My intention is to use it on our Holiday Rambler travel trailer and also on the farm tractor. I hope it works as advertised, but no first-hand data yet.

I see it says to apply it above 70F. We usually don't see 70s until we're into March so it'll be awhile (can't afford it right now anyway). I see it comes in an aerosol can so I may order that to start with. Loren when you try it be sure and post your impressions.

I have emailed Skip a couple times about Nyalic, I'll post his comments tomorrow (they're on my work computer).
