2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Nylon gear for power seat motor.

Anyone found a source for the gears and other parts to repair power seat drives.



The motor runs, just need to do a repair on the forward/back drive on a 95.

Mines out too. I did a search for seat tracks and came up with some bad news. You have to buy a whole seat track or get one used. There's no repair. I've been suffering for 3 months... .....

Todd, I bet these motors and gears are not specific to our trucks, if you checked a interchange manual you could likely find many applications for the motor we use.



Now, if someone with that ability will chime in we may be in business.

My seat twists sideways when attempting to move to the front, is this a seat track problem?

Mine did that too right before it quit altogether. Call it the Death Twist.

HMMmm - seems that "twist" is a signal of binding - and/or lubrication is needed if disaster is to be avoided...
