Just a FWIW - In my search for a tall narrow tire with good traction and wear history I decided on the Toyo M55s 255/85R16s and found them for a very reasonable price at O. K. tire Company in Canada.



These tires are just about impossible to find locally. Every local tire dealer/distributer I contacted would have to order them and wanted almost twice the O. K. Tire price. Other online tire companies either could not touch their price or did not offer the Toyos. The shipping was very reasonable - (4) 56lb tires from Canada to my door $87. 00. Very timely post!

I am looking at installing a set of M-55s or a set of BF Goodrich commercial TA tractions when I return to the states. The most recent quote I had for a set of M-55s installed was $165 per tire. How does this compare to your deal?

Is this your first set of M-55s? Let me know what you think of them, I hear mostly good things about them.

JJ - I like the M55s they have a little more aggresive tread than I expected but ride really well. They ended up costing me about $125. 00 each plus shipping from OK.
