Last Monday I took my 2004, automatic with 95K in for an problem with shifting on easy acceleration. Intermittently, I would put it in gear and when accelerating easy, it would not shift until about 2500 RPM. Then if shifted very hard. I could resolve it by depressing the accelerator quickly and letting off. Then everything would be fine. After trying to determine the problem with no error codes, the dealership replaced the presser control sensor in the transmission and flashing the 'computer. ' After 5 days of driving in town and usually getting 17-18 MPG, I got 14. 1. I just drove from Ft. Worth to Jackson, MS pulling my horse trailer weighing approximately 9000lbs. My mileage was 10. 1. I pulled this same trailer to Ohio twice in the last 6 months and never got less then 13. 5. Does anyone have any advice on this issue. To make it worse, the shifting problem returned today on my trip.
