Unleaded??

Problem with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Xfer

This is a disturbing video. It shows a group of gang members beating a girl evidently because they suspected she had gone to the Police about some of their illegal activity. It appears that the gang members are all black, and it appears the girl is white. She may not have survived the beating.

Now I ask you... if the video showed white guys beating a gay, black or hispanic person you KNOW it would be on every network news broadcast and all over the NYTimes etc. The Liberal Media would shove it in our faces 24-7. But since it shows black against white violence it won't get any news coverage.

Media bias, we are way past that as a problem. How about the bais laws? If this was the other way a round there would be call of a Hate Crime.

Here is another news clip about the story. Right now it's unclear exactly when this beating happened. It's interesting that this story doesn't even MENTION the races of the people involved. Gee I wonder why!

OAKLAND (KRON) -- Oakland Police now believe a graphic videotape that surfaced on a national web site really came from a 2002 DVD and not a recent fight.

Police say the video isn't new at all. Investigators say it appears the tape was shot near the Oakland Ice Center on 18th street.

The Drudge report and several other web sites reported the woman who is being attacked on the tape died as a result of the beating. Oakland police say they have no reports of homicides matching the victim's description.

Even though the event happened more than three years ago, Oakland Police say they would like to talk with the woman and learn the extent of her injuries.

The video is narrated by a calm voice describing what he calls "justice, Oakland style. "

"It is suspected that she ratted out gang members to local authorities," the narrator says.

Off camera, the video operator excitedly yells that he wants to get this beating on film, while others in the crowd yell for the assailants to beat the woman and take her clothes off. Several people are seen kicking, punching, and stomping on the woman, who was pulled out of a car.

The woman, who appears 18 to 20 years old, is beaten by as many as 30 people -- male and female -- to the encouraging chants and yells of the huge crowd that has gathered.

"It's a huge gathering in the middle of an intersection, and there are so many people there," Whitman said. "It's hard to fathom that not one individual in this neighborhood called and said they're beating someone to death in the middle of the street. "

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Oakland Police Dept. at (510) 238-3349.

I know full on about media bias. This however might be because they have no other information about the tape. If a tape like that appears, and the police claim it is from 3 years ago, then there is very little news to report about it really.

That story, with the information provided above, is more suited for a show like A Current Affair, or "You Gotta See This" type shows.

As for my take, I think it is a disgrace, and who ever hits a woman like that should be hung, no matter what color he is.

If you watch enough news, you will find that blacks are a group that no one wants to tangle with, so they stay clear of anything like this. Remember the Rodney King deal? Of course, but the one you don't still hear about is the one with the blacks pulling that white trucker out of his 18-Wheeler.

I know all about media bias because I am trying to get my start in the news industry, and have studied it for the past 4 years in depth.
