Seems I have the common brake/ABS light glowing on my dash. I checked the rear axle speed sensor for continuity and got something in the 800 range. Seem to remember reading a post stating a new sensor registered closer to 1800 on the ohms scale. Does my reading seem in the "range"?
I also have access to a Snap-On scan tool and thought I would check the ABS system before replacing the rear sensor. I can't seem to get the Scan tool to communicate with the trucks system. When trying to communicate with the thrucks ABS system should this be done via the OBD II port under the dash or rather another ABS connector somewhere in the truck. If so where is this elusive plug located. For those with experience with the Snap-On scan tool by what means should I go about pulling the codes? The unit I'm using does have the ABS troubleshooter cartridge. Just can't seem to establish communication. Any help would be appreciated. Chris
