For a whale of a lot less than $350 you can get an\Autenginuity laptop based program that is bidirectional as does as much as the pro setups from Snap-On.

I don't have the Autoenginuity, I use a Snap On scanner at work. For the OBDII mode the Autoenginuity is pretty nice. To get the "enhanced" functions for the Dodge would require a DRBIII which is way expensive for a DIY'er. This PC style is a good alternative for DIY'ers wanting to get into the system.
