I currently have a rental 2018 Silverado 1500 Double Cab 4x4 while 2 of my 3 trucks are down for repairs. Here are some observations.
First, I'm not sure who or what these trucks are designed for, but I'm guessing the trucks are intended for some skinny little person. I've never been so claustrophobic in my life. It's so bad, I almost need to drive with all of the windows down to feel like I can breath. It's tight in every direction, especially shoulder room between the B pillar and the center console. I'm approx 240# and I simply don't fit. Its so bad that I have to open the door in order to reach up and get the seat belt.
Secondly, the radio/infotainment system is very confusing. I don't know if there is something wrong with the rental I have, but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the screen where you can see the radio dial. It keeps popping up screens for the WiFi, texts, and Onstar. You can see the radio screen several tabs behind the ones that are showing. But, I can't figure out how to access it. Again, I don't know if I just can't figure it out or if there is something actually wrong with the system.
Finally, forget about going anywhere rough with this thing. It is LOW to the ground. Maybe it would work for a few inches of snow every once in a while, but forget about going on any of the rough access roads that I need to be on.
