Hi folks,
I have a problem with a occassional hop or shake in the truck around 45-55 mph. It had all the simptoms of a bad U joint so with over 100K, I had all 5 U joints replaced. On the ride home, the shimmy had once again made a breif aperrance comming up the hill. Wheels were rebalanced last year. Front end is tight and tracks nice. The Mechanic said that once they had a Dodge truck do the same thing and after many hours of R+R trouble shooting, they gave it to a dealer that simply reflashed the trans (PCM?) and the problem was solved. Can anyone varify this fix for a occassional body shake? I have a stock trany.
