October Central Florida meeting

Saturday October 16, 2004 from 10AM~~3PM @ Winter Park Dodge. Should be pretty much like the Ralleye Dodge meeting was here in Ocala. We'll have meeting space (in A/C) and parking... but no food will be provided. And they're "working" on having someone with diesel knowledge there when we are.



I'm not very familiar with Orlando so here's my best directions... if anyone else has better PLEASE post them here.



Address is 1050 North Orlando Avenue



I-4 to 423. GO EAST on 423 to Orlando Avenue (17/92) and then go NORTH about 100 yards and the dealers is on the right.



SR 50 to Orlando Avenue (17/92) go NORTH... as above the dealer will be about 100 yards NORTH of the 423 intersection.



Again if anyone has better directions PLEASE add them.

GOt word this afternoon that there's 'supposed' to be at least 1 diesel tech (recently hired from freightliner) for us and maybe 2 of them.

Sorry for dropping the ball for NOvember/December. Had hoped to have a cookout sometime soon but I had a financial disaster that the wife and I are still battling... someone somehow got her DL #, SS #, and our checking account number and cashed several thousand dollars worth of bad checks using my wife's ID etc... so unfortunately my time has been devoted to this lately.



I am trying to get some sort of meeting together for December so hopefully we'll post it here soon.



I have been in contact with PDQ in Sanford and they said they'd host another 'Dyno Day' for us after the first of the year... so I was thinking late Jan or early Feb if they are available then.



Again I apologize for not keeping on top of getting meetings together but when your money suddenly dissappears from the bank it's kinda tough to worry about much else.

I would be interested in a Dyno day at PDQ also, just new to the diesel gang, but love my cummins.



01 Dodge cummins 24 valve, SB, QC auto with 3:54 gears ,all stock 23500 miles, just ordered Westach Gauges and a pillar , wanting a chip, but not sure what one as of yet , leaning towards the EDGE EZ or EDGE COMP, not looking for over kill, just enough power and torque to stop the down shifting when pulling my 5er.

I'm interested in the dyno day also( I've got new mods to try out). where is PDQ?

PDQ is in Sanford.

Unfortunately after several e-mails and no responses it seems PDQ is too busy to bother with us now. So if anyone in Central FL area knows of another good dyno where we can run please try and set it up. This was the only one I know of.
