Anyone ever notice if their OD button (when disengaged) gets hot when used for a certain length of time? When traveling under 50 mph this weekend, I noticed the OD button was hot to the touch when I switched back to OD. Is this normal?
The OD off button is intermittent contact, juice only flows for a fraction of a second when you push the button. Perhaps the heat you feel is just coming from the light bulb?
Teacher, this should be no problem for you. My o/d button does the same heating act when out of o/d and the light is on. I always took it to be heat from the bulb. Its been doing this since 30 Nov 95.
