Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Over a month ago I was in a accident was hoping to get my truck fixed 4 free but even though it wasn't my fault the cop some how decided I was speeding that I cut the person off etc etc so now I'm the one being found @ fault & have a ton of tickets . I'm already crippled & had to shut my bodyshop down because I was in bad shape ..anyways so now I'm left doing this a little @ a time.I ruined both fenders, got a small hole in the oil pan and then both of the control arms on the driver side.
I finally got the od & t case pulled both the drive shafts dropped etc.What happened is the rear d/s axle went backwards pulling the t case sideways breaking the od housing&thee bolt on d/s motor mount went behind the ear.Anyways I'm ordering a new od unit & putting everything back together.But I have a questiom there is a rod sticking out of the transmission. I Believe it's the od unit.Is there anything I need to do with it when I reinstall the od?he also is there any feels that I need to purchase? And the someone cell wall of the seals for the transfer case? I know you can buy rebuild kit but I just need the seals. I have a feeling I may need to get some linkage pieces put I don't think I can find any new pieces online so I'll scavange that anyways sorry alot of extra crap just to ask about that rod.
