Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I'm putting this out there in the hopes that someone has had the same issue or can correct my testing procedure. I have an 01 CTD with factory trailer towing package that includes a 4 and 7 way plug. I will need to use my trailer in the near future so I took advantage of the mild weather today to check things out. With my multimeter, I checked both plugs on the truck and everything checks. I checked the trailer wiring by using the multimeter and checking for continuity from the ground to each of the other wires....marker, Left and Right. Everything checked out OK.
My problem is that when I plug it in to the truck, I have no lights on the trailer at all. I cleaned the plugs with contact cleaner and a small wire brush and still nothing.
Has anyone ever had the same problem or am I doing something wrong. BTW...the trailer has a flat4 plug. No lights when plugged into the flat 4 or the 7 pin with adapter.
