Odometer and Tripometer Cease Functioning

My Odo and tripmeter were intermidently not working, now they have ceased to function. The speedometer is still working. Any ckues?

I had the same problem and had to have the speedometer/odometer rebuilt. Cost was $139. 00.



My problem now is the electric printed circuit board that the instrument panel (including speedometer) "plugs" into has gone out and these are discontinued parts. Hopefully that will not be the next problem for you.

Put in the part you want and then a bunch of salvage yards will email you and tell you they have your part. Call them to see who can get it cheapest. There aren't any dodges in the salvage yards around here, so I use this whenever I can. Seems that there is a ton of these 1st gens in salvage yards in Ohio for some reason. I got a whole speedometer/gauge cluster for under $100. Hope you find what you're looking for.
