Speedo used to be off by 4mph at 60. Speedo said doing 69 gps said 64.

I have since used alpha to correct. How much can I expect my odometer mileage to be off? 4%? What is the math on this?

You are closer to 7% off. (69/64=1.078 or 1-64/69=.072) Since you speedo indicated faster your actual mileage is about 7-8% lower than indicated.

This will sound funny, but if you have a police dept pretty close, you could stop by and ask to see if there's an officer that is radar/laser certified could help check to see what speed you're doing to compare. I had gone through a speed trap years ago in another truck and was pulled over. I asked what they clocked me at and said 64 when my speedo was at 55-58. The officer told me to go back around, put speedo at the 12 o'clock position which was 60 and come through to compare. Speedo was off by 8! He didn't issue a ticket, just a verbal to remember the difference! Can't hurt to ask and I'm sure they might get a chuckle out of someone asking to know. JM2C. Can alpha change that or am I looking at running into problems. Should I even care about it now that the speedo is fixed?

Alfa can fix that, but tread lightly, not sure it leaves any sign of changes that could burn you down the road due to odometer changes!

AlfaOBD can correct your tire size which will correct your indicated speed and the odometer going forward. As far as the existing mileage I not sure it would be worth the effort to try and roll it back if it would even be supported. My understanding is that number is maintained in the computer and can't be changed and all AlfaOBD can do is resync the odometer to the computer memorized number. (disclaimer, never had a need to do either so didn't pay that close attention to AlfaOBD can do there.)

AlfaOBD can change the odometer reading in the dash cluster, but it won't change the mileage in the ecm.
So, in a future sale or trade-in, if they plug into the OBD and check the ecm clocking, it won't match the dash. If you tell the buyer of the difference then you're clear, otherwise it could be construed as fraud.

Also, I'm getting close to finding out if the odometer actually stops recording miles at 621K like has been reported around the web in a few places. Supposedly because the odometer only runs up to 6 digits, when the kilometers reach 999,999 it stops because there are no more digits to record and it doesn't flip over back to zero, and at that point the miles also stop, which is just past 621K. If it does work like that, I may be looking into rolling back the miles on mine with alfaOBD myself.
