Does anybody have the OE style fender flares made by Bushwacker? I can't seem to find any pictures with these flares installed. My tires stick out about 2 1/2 inches. I'm wandering if these flares would be better than the extend a fender flares I already have? Does anybody ever send pictures on this website or can we? Or, do we have to do it off this website because it just seems to me that pictures are very scarce. Thank you very much.

MarkCuda,
I have the Bushwacker Street flares. I did not like the Fit or finish. They have made some changes since I installed them. I like the way the new "OE STYLE" by Bushwacker look too. You can see them at Bushwackers web page. Bushwacker OE stlyle flares below:

Another good source for flares is Xenon. I wish I had seen these before I bought the Bushwackers. The truck below has Xenon flares.

Also look at EGR flares, Prime Designs,& Warn & the ones available from your Dealer. If your truck has body side moulding, this may need to be cut back or the flare will need to be notched. (Pain in the neck)

Mark,

I read the installation instructions for the OE style flares @ Bushwackers` website. I saw 2 things I don`t like.

1) They recommend sanding the edge that will butt up aganist the sheetmetal. They can`t break the sharp edge at the factory?

2) The part of the flare that goes aganist body has no edgeing or 3m tape to secure it. This will be hard plastic to sheetmetal. They recommend clear protective tape for protection of the painted sheetmetal. Gotta be kidding me. Gaps will be a problem too I`m sure.

These are starting to sound like the "street flares" I got. I thought they were junk when I saw them. I would look at Xenon and other brands. I wouldn`t put these on a new truck. I see why Bushwacker flares are 1/2 the price of the competition. Check around. You want the Best flares available for your new 30K Truck. #ad
