2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission OEM Brake Pads/Wear Indicators???

Just had the brakes done on my 2000. The front pads that came off (original OEM) had no wear indicators on them. Is this unusual?

The replacement pads (NAPA AE) have wear indicators.

I've seen some "mopar" linings and pads with and without varying by model year etc. I replaced some on a 99 recently, the customer brought mopar lining, they had wear indicators.



I changed some on a 3500 recently that did not. . It was metal to metal, the customer wasn't please with his "wear indicator. "

My OEM pads the first set had indicators and the second set I got from the dealer were the bettter type and had no indicators. Go figure that one out.
