OEM Camper Special Springs

I took the OEM camper springs(the top two) off of my '99 a long time ago. I want to use them again and can't remember how they are attached to the main leafs. Can anyone tell me if the center spring pack bolt nut goes on top of these helper springs or are they attached just by the 2 u-bolts?
