Purchased new Bosch #505BMS35 (BMS 50HP injectors), 35% 5.9L Late Inj (50/60).

NOTE: I've learned the Bosch "Bosch Motor Sports" style injectors are "custom" oversized from original, by the process of "extrude honing" also called "abrasive flow machining", thru licensed vendors approved by Bosch, per customer spec. Technically one can spec any oversize they wish! These I've ordered are typical, shelf item, "custom 35% oversized" units that are described on my invoice as "50/60 HP" as an approximation based upon a particular application.

Sooo, strictly speaking, Bosch manufactures the OEM units & licenses other shops to modify them. Cool eh.

Anyone out there running these with Banks tuners? I'd like to hear 'bout your experience, especially towing.

Thanks,
Wally

Not really. The mere thought of that would have Bosch management in an uproar. Bosch itself licenses no one to custom build injector parts and pieces, the only thing back and allow are production run items, the OE and marine injectors.

Bosch Motor Sports contracts nozzles fro specialty needs form different vendors but pretty sure BMS assembles them. Bosch parent will have nothing to do with BMS's ventures.

Considering the problems that are showing with the BMS 126 degree nozzles, their extrude honing processes are faulty or the nozzle design requires custom tuning. Most good nozzle are initially made with EDM then balanced with extrude honing.

Thanks Cerb.. This statement is so True, BMS is a privately owned company that Bosh N/A-Worldwide originally allowed the selling of products for race and comp, BMS started selling OE products in the back yard of licensed dealer network, thru its dealer Network Exergy and S&S Diesel.
The selling Network That was purchase by selling distributors thru Bosch N/A was being invaded by BMS, changes were made But it seems BMS is not getting the point, Their Is a big and MEAN Big push for BOSCH N/A to sell any BOSCH products, this would include the electronics that only BMS has rights ( exclusively) at this time BOSCH world wide already raise the cost of products to BMS and another price increase is coming.

BMS and its network cannot sell any OE products ,BMS gets the different Nozzle angles, BOSH N/A has made it clear that any molesting of OE products W/O defacing and labeling clearly that this is NO NOT longer a BOSCH Product and If they buy OE nozzles R/R is clearly in violation and actions will be taken,in other do this even 1 time and the seller is cut off.

If Look at the Years TC Diesel has been selling BOSCH OEM product we Always remove BOSCH Marking and Place the TC Diesel (label) has taken ownership and is carrying ALL Warranties on modded Products. We do this even for OEM stuff because of the tariffs laws in selling out of our territory, BOSCH was He earlier this year and seen all the products we sell were relabeled , Thank me for the Business treat Me to Lunch and Moved on. No follow up administrative NOTICE what-so-ever Why Because TC Diesel follows the rules and regulations BOSCH N/A oversees.
