OEM Rotors or Power Slot??

Anybody using the power slots and do they make a difference?

I have power slots and extreme duty raybestos pads. it made a huge difference, the brake fade is allmost gone, and power slots were cheaper than stock

Done'em both and getting the Powerslots is what made DPPI start selling them. It was that much better as far as fade and braking performance especially when towing! Be sure to get the Cyro'ed ones if you do any towing, likely you'll never buy rotors again if you do and unless you tow heavy 99% of the time get the Hawk LTS pads. I was very skeptical, so if you are too call us.

Brakes

I have Power Slot Cryogenic front rotors. I would highly recommend the Power Slot over stock rotors. I also turned the rear rotors and installed the same pad. My truck stopped just fine before but now I use little pedal effort and get max breaking faster than stock .

I chose to go with Raybestos brake pads. The Super Stop brake pad is the name of what I used. This is not the only that I have experience using them on. There is very little brake dust, no noise, smooth stopping. I have used Hawk pads before and I dont know what model I used, they did not work as good as SuperStop pads. Sam

Go to frozenrotors.com they will slot and drill if you want. made a big change in stopping force.

I am glad to hear all the good reports on the Power Slots! I just ordered some last week and am looking forward to some smooth stopping. I had a rotor replaced at a Goodyear shop last year and the shimmy while braking now is starting to make me a little nervous about driving the kids around. I am also going to get Hawk pads unless I hear some negative feedback on them.

Wher can you get power slots cheaper than stock? Looks like they are around $125. 00 each. NAPA sells the stock rotors for less than $30. 00 each.

While you can get some really cheaply priced OEM style rotors you are usually sorry. The ones that are that cheap are Asian made and just don't hold up for most folks. If you get a name brand USA cast rotor the cost differential between them and a Powerslot is very little.

I thought NAPA sold quality parts. The box did say made in China. I asked if they had any USA made rotors and was told that was their best. I noticed you sig. Do you sell the good rotors?

TALK TO MARK!!! its one of those things that wont be that much more expensive and it will be one of the best mods you have done! think about it, 350-450 forward moving horsepower, the stopping force needs to be there too. i love mine, big difference

They're not telling you to whole truth. They can get good USA made rotors, but they don't make as much profit dollars on them etc. We do sell the Powerslot and Hawk products and will be glad to help you if you have any questions etc.

This is waaaay more important than most folks realize. We follow Powerslots and Hawks method but they are all sort of similiar. VERY VERY important especailly if you don't get the cyro'ed rotors too!

Well per this response is there interest? TDR guidelines on group purchases is somewhat confusing but if they'll allow it here respond if interested and if there is some interest, then I will check with Mark as to pricing. No point in bothering Mark with group pricing for 2 or 3 people
