Hi I have a 98. 5 3500 4X4 we took it to Big O Tire because it had a pull to the right, they work on it and it did help but they said I needed off set ball joint's. they also told me there not on the market yet and won't be until sept. has any one else had this problem or no any thing about it?

Thank you

I bought a set of theese from Quad 4x4 and I did not put them in yet but do need to. Upon opening the box I was wowed! VERY strong and perfect looking units. Take a look. I got the kit with all the tools as they will come in handy in the future I am sure.

Toolman did you get a chance to put in your balljoints? did it make a difference in drivability, are they the adustable kind?also do they have grease fittings? Thanks, Gregg

Yep I did Gregg.

Massdiesel Did 'em as I was not about to do this on jackstands in the cold. They made all the difference in the world. The ones that came out were in bad shape for quite some time now. One of them (An upper) was like one of those old pharmacy grinding bowls it was worn out that bad.

The uppers are greaseable ... lowers no. I don't think that there ever will be a greaseable lower as tolerances are just waayyy too tight.

Tim are these the adjustable ones I have heard about? Who makes these joints and do they have a lifetime warranty? When I changed all 4 on my 97 ram the lowers had grease fittings they just cleared the u- joints, they were made by Moog, they seemed like a quality product.

Guys - the MOOG heavy duty balljoints I installed on Dieseldoghouse several years ago did have threads for grease fittings on all four. I found that if I installed low profile nipples and used a side-loading gun they are accessable BUT you gotta clock the cross shaft joint to open the clearance - mildly annoying but worth it. I don't have the MOOG numbers here but do a search - I posted them while back. They've been working for 100K.
