Great, you guys have all the fun and I'm here getting my butt handed to me via Airplane... . glad to hear there was so much fun... ... things needed to change.

Jim

That was the best time I've had in a while. Thanks to all the guys who put the rally on this year.

It was good to see all you fellas again, wish I could have stayed later to see the big guys dyno and put down the good numbers.

Piers, I got some pics if you want them... then again... you might not :-laf .

Scott

Ditto to all of the above, plus:

Thanks to Mike, Pam, & Curtis ("I didn't do nuthin') for putting on the show!

Piers & Louise for coming down & putting up with all of our dumb questions!

Peter of SBC for subsidizing the dyno- we missed you & hope your daughter is doing OK.

To all of the other vendors & donors.

To everyone who came- it's not a party without y'all (especially M. C. Andrew- the WHITER Vanilla Ice! :D )

I had this vision of me doing donuts in the parking lot while I had the old tires on(new in spring).

Jim

I must say, As everyone knows, our campsite was where it was at Saturday night.

Mike, Curtis-

I hope I didnt wreck anything between y'all and the park, I hope y'all made peace after we left. It seemed like they were already mad at the number of trucks that were in attendance.

Andrew, my Brother-

I must say it was definitely the best time I have seen in quite some time, and it was great to see everyone.

Piers- Thank you for coming down and also hanging out with us Saturday night. It was definitely awesome finally getting to meet you, and better to BS over a couple (Maybe more than a couple) of beers.

Peter-

Thank you for your contributions for the dyno, and we all left with a smile on our face. Thanks a million. Hope your daughter is ok.

Chace-

Send me a CD of that video! I didnt get to see it, and cant wait! It was good getting to see you and hang out!

As I sat here last night, it definitely seems as if the weekend came and went too quickly. This rally was by far the best, and it is one that will be talked about for quite some time. I hope someone posts a pic of the night time theme with all the lights in shining glory.

Merrick-

Drive us to Wal Mart again! I had fun going Wal-Martin'!! I still think we should have taken up a collection for the Dancing Santa. For sure next year he will be up shakin' his stuff on the front of the horse trailer. . THE ONLY HORSE TRAILER in a fancy campground. .

I am sure they will make amendments to their policies regarding what type of trailers will be allowed to stay overnight!

If there is anything I forgot (Keep it clean) please add in where I forgot.

-Chris-

Oh yeah, Thanks to PDR for supplying the "special" lighting Saturday night!! :-laf :D

Jim,

There were no donuts to speak of, or even trucks being driven. It was more the "late crowd" then the "into bed by 10pm type". ;)

And the award for the most creative living quarters goes to...

Due to a lack of pink flamingos at the Kerrville Wal-Mart, the yard was decorated with candy canes. Although that dancing Santa Claus would have really set it off.

What else can I say?

What an event!!!

75+ trucks

200 some odd number of people

1 horse trailer

and a helluva good time

We just got back from our after weekend event. Met up with Piers and Louise down in San Luis Pass and after a midnight fishing trip, they are headed back to return the camper and jump on a plane back north.

A HUGE thanks to Michael and Pam Watkins for giving me a year of rest and taking over the rally for 2004. What else can be said for the job he did. Top notch as always. Thanks to Piers and Louise for making the trip from Canada, Eh? You guys will always be welcome in when you decide to move PDR to Texas. ;)

Also a HUGE thanks to all the vendors that attended and supported the rally this year. Without vendor support, these events would never happen. So, please support the vendors that support your events.

So, now for the $64,000 question.

What do you do when you have the most knowledgable diesel mechanic in North America at your house? ;) ;)

Who's gonna post the numbers for the dyno day?I would like to see all of the numbers since i had to leave to get back home for work yesterday.

Thanks

ray

Gitchesum,

I need to bring my truck by for your washing service, I have several gallons of oil coating the undercarriage. I used 3. 5 gallons on the trip home, but I got the best fuel mileage ever pulling my 5th wheel, +/- 18 mpg. I kept boost under 10 lbs on the road, which meant I rarely got over 60 mph.

Ray,

A number of participants asked me to keep the results under my hat for a variety of reasons. More than a few were disappointed that their trucks didn't test as well on our dyno as they have on other dynos. As I explained this weekend, our test results are showing what is measured where the rubber hits the road, or "power made good. " As saddened as a few guys were by their results, EVERYONE there made more power than my truck does. I'll post up a graph of some recent test results, that oughta make you guys feel a lot better about your results (mine tests between 160 and 170 hp depending on how good the fuel happens to be. )

Thanks to the Hosts, Vendors and the Camp Ground

All:

Vivian and I had a great time seeing old friends again and meeting new ones. The camp ground is first rate and so were the vittles. Thanks to all the folks who put this on, to all the vendors who contributed, the dyno folks and to Peter for sponsing the dyno.

Viv and I were both pleased w/ our dyno numbers (395HP for my 3500 and 349. 9 for my wife's 2500).

We hope everyone made it home safely and look forward to seeing y'all next year.

Thanks again, Ron and Vivian

No... Bad idea... remember?? What happened in kerrville STAYS IN KERRVILLE! At least that aspect, and I think we all made a pact about that too.
