Officer Killed in Line of Duty

We here in Bismarck, ND, lost a 32 year veteran of our police department on 7/8/11. This officer was responding to a domestic assault when he was shot and killed by the male suspect of the domestic. The officers name is Sgt Steve Kenner and he leaves behind a wife (Deb) and three children. This was our city's first Officer fatality in the line of duty in the city's history.



I know this is an odd request for a group dedicated to our Diesel Rams but please keep the Kenner family and our department in your prayers as we all cope with this senseless and tragic loss. Thank you.

We've lost a couple in my township. None recently.

Domestics suck.

Someone here in my town did all the things you shouldnt do when the police are at your house for a domestic and was shot to death.

Or so I'm told... . I didnt know the cop or the recepient of said lead.

I read that the most dangerous for police are calls for domestic disturbances, mainly male, female, one case of a family member in Britain where firearms are rare, he was called to the house and when arriving was told by a man on the porch not to come any further as he had turned on the gas in the house, he was holding a lighter and threatened to light it, when the policeman came forward he lit the lighter, there was a burst of fire and the policeman had his hair on fire, eye lashes and eye brows burned off, plus the tops of his ears badly blistered. Probably best to come with a Tank or Armored vehicle.
