I have a 1999 2500 4X4 Sport, and I have been installing a new 47RE transmission into it.
Yesterday I was able to remove the transmission, but forgot to undo the torque converter to the flex plate. Today I removed the torque converter, however, I turned the torque converter CLOCKWISE when I was removing it and only 360 degrees.
This means that I was turning crankshaft in the WRONG direction according to the service manual. It says to turn the crankshaft clockwise via the dampener.
So my question is, did I screw anything up?
I didn't feel anything bind, slip, or hear anything break. But that doesn't mean that something didn't happen.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
